Three distinctly different pieces out of six that were created for the WEUM campaign. First, a historical overview using archived images, graphics and a voice over. Second, a locked-off camera features several dozen church members reciting the mission of the church as well as listing off ministries, etc. I know we discussed a similar something in our meeting. Finally, a conversation between Senior Pastor Michael Williams and Allen Walworth. (Generis)
First, two short pieces to garner support for the campaign and lastly, a round-table style discussion among church leadership and members. Don't feel compelled to watch the whole thing, it's included to demonstrate a number of different ways to approach messaging.
One of FFUMC's own - while the subject matter is irrelevant, it demonstrates the way in which a personal story can be leveraged to communicate a cause. A piece similar to this could easily suit one of the five storylines we discussed last Monday evening.
A couple of different approaches here. First, an example of how simple music, still images and spoken word can come together to make a moving piece. Second, two of six one-on-one interviews that were rolled out on social media over the course of several weeks; comments and positions aside, it was another way to use personal testimony to define the organization.
Some inspirational fodder. Everything above was created with these principles in mind - good medicine!
